The Connecticut Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) is a service organization that was established in 1981. The organization has a membership of more than 45 board-certified plastic surgeons practicing in Connecticut, and also works with the area’s residency programs to include plastic surgery residents in the educational opportunities offered by the group.
Our officers are all extremely well-qualified individuals with excellent and diverse educational backgrounds and a wealth of experience in the field of plastic surgery. Our officers are committed to using their expertise to benefit the community. They participate in a wide range of charitable activities and aim to advance the potential of first-rate plastic and reconstructive surgical care. |
The primary goal of our organization is to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality health care in the state of Connecticut. The CSPS works on a variety of fronts to achieve this goal. Twice a year, we host major meetings and involve nationally recognized experts to update members and residents on the latest developments and techniques in plastic surgery. On the national level, we work with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and other organizations to remain a resource on safety concerns and office-based surgery issues.
As advocates for patients, the CSPS takes an active role at the Connecticut General Assembly and before state regulatory agencies to ensure that all Connecticut citizens have access to the highest quality of medical care available. |
